This is an a small portion Of a letter I had written to a friend a few years back. I was reading through Some of my older writings and It just fell into my lap. Anyways, I figured I'd share it. Enjoy.
"Cynics Desicrate Beauty".
What a true and harsh realization for all of us.
How long will we Continue to judge with The eyes of cynics instead Of bestowing grace with eyes of compassion? I can only imagine the countenance of peace and compassion that Jesus wore on his face amidst the pain and rejection from his bride. I can only imagine what thomas felt looking into those eyes, so Piercing... it could have been nothing short of love and acceptance.
I doubt christ would have ever called thomas a doubter, labeled him as such, and then set him before the church to be judged and branded. This is the lovely doing of a cynical bride. A bride who has lost a sense for what true beauty is, love amidst imperfection, despite our flaws or our doubts…
All this to say.
I too have my doubts,I have my flaws,
But of much greater importance, I have love and I have Hope.

Today
I plan on spending a Glorious amount of time in my darkroom.
I'm not sure if it's because I enjoy watching the light and chemicals burn everyday life onto sheets of white paper, or just being able to sit there and think for hours on end while the film is developing and papers are drying.
Honestly, It can get pretty boring. But in the end, I feel like an accomplished artist. Even if my hand never touches a brush or a pen.
OH yes, I forgot. Huntington beach at five.
Hopefully the beach will be a promising place to capture life.
